In mathematical terms, if a, b, and c is the sides of a right triangle where c is the hypotenuse, then the theorem can be written as:                                        a² +b² = c² This theorem is named after the ancient Greek mathematician Pythagoras,  who is credited with its discovery. Pythagorean Triples Pythagorean triples  are any three positive integers that completely satisfy the Pythagorean theorem.
